Terms of service

If we make a material change to these terms, we will email everyone with an account at the address we hold for them, with a short summary of what changed. We do not ask you to accept the new version again: carrying on using the service after the date we give is acceptance of it. If you do not agree, you can delete your account on your account page.

Who you are contracting with

This agreement is between you and Techholds (Private) Limited, a company based in Lahore, Pakistan, doing business as Brandtint. We serve customers worldwide. Paddle handles every purchase and is the seller on your receipt.

Creating an account means you accept these terms. We record the date you did, the same way we record consent to receive product email.

What the service does

Brandtint makes colour themes for business apps other companies built, and gives you a file you can install. We are not owned by, backed by, or connected to SalesAgility, who make SuiteCRM, or to any other software company.

Your licence

• A theme purchase lets you use the files you make on one live site, for one company, for as long as you like. SuiteCRM 7 and SuiteCRM 8 are separate purchases, and each one licenses the version you bought. A purchase covers one project, and the logo you bought it with is that project’s brand: once a project is paid for, its logo is fixed, so a second brand needs its own project and its own licence. You may change the colours, the theme name and the SuiteCRM version as often as you like and download again while your purchase window is open - none of that counts as a second brand. You may not use one licence to produce a theme for a different company or product.
• Studio gives you the same rights on as many sites as you like, including client sites, for as long as you subscribe, up to the number of projects stated in your quote (we can raise it later). It also lets you remove our name from the file. If it ends, this grant does not expire for files already generated - files you already downloaded stay yours; new downloads need an active subscription. A payment that fails keeps downloads open for 7 days while it is retried.
• You cannot resell the files, or pass them on as a product of your own.
• Your logo and your brand stay yours. Uploading a logo only lets us work out your colours, save them, and build your files.

Theme refinements and entitlements

Theme refinements are bought separately and are not included with any purchase. One is only used when an AI design works. Downloading, downloading again, and getting a file for a new SuiteCRM release within the version you bought never use one. A one-time purchase covers a set number of months during which you can build new files. After that, the files you already have stay available. The terms you bought under are locked in on the day you buy and we do not change them later.

Designs the AI makes

Pressing Refine theme sends a copy of your logo, and anything you type in the box beside it, to our AI provider, which suggests a set of colours. The colours it gives back are yours to use, under the licence above, exactly as if you had picked them by hand.

Two things follow from a machine picking them. They are not guaranteed to be unique - another customer with a similar logo may be shown similar colours, and neither of you has a claim on the other. And we do not check them against anyone’s trademark or brand guidelines. Colours can be protected, in narrow cases. Checking that is your side of the line, not ours, and nothing here is legal advice about it.

The box where you describe what you want is sent to another company. Do not put anything in it you would not want to leave our servers, and do not use it to try to make the AI produce something unrelated to a colour scheme.

Subscriptions and renewal

One-off theme purchases do not renew; their prices are on the pricing page. A Studio plan is priced per agency rather than listed, and renews on its own at the price and interval stated in your quote and at checkout, until you cancel. You can cancel online any time in your account settings. It is the same way you signed up, and you do not have to contact us. Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.

Acceptable use

Do not upload artwork you do not have the right to use. Do not flood our servers with requests. Do not use this to make anything illegal. We can suspend an account that does any of these.

Availability and liability

We provide the service as it is. We cannot promise it will never go down. As far as the law allows, the most we can owe you is what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some liability cannot be limited by law, and nothing here tries to limit it.

Governing law

The laws of Pakistan govern this agreement, without regard to its rules about which jurisdiction’s law applies. Any dispute goes to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, and you and we both agree to appear there.

This does not take away rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country or state you live in. Where that law does not allow a limit written here, that limit does not apply to you.
